Diversity travel

Diversity Travel is a leading Travel Management Company (TMC), offering a full travel management service to clients in the academic and charity sectors. My current role is as Senior Marketing Executive, working across the full marketing mix.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

One of the first projects I worked on at Diversity Travel was the creation of new brand guidelines. The new guidelines will enable Diversity Travel to uphold a business reputation for excellence; the company's brand is synonymous with trust, integrity and professionalism.

 

After designing and implementing these new guidelines throughout all printed and digital collateral, I launched these guidelines to the business during a presentation, which looked at the various elements of the new guidelines, as well as discussing the importance of branding in a more general sense.

BABCOCK ANALYTIC SOLUTIONS

Part of wider Babcock Group, Babcock Analytic Solutions is a technology business who enable customers, primarily in mission critical environments, to do more with their data. With leading consultants and data scientists, they offer a range of services including risk management and data visualisation.

Working with SharpCloud, experts in data visualisation, Babcock was able to deploy a secure data management solution to customers in complex, regulated and mission critical environments. This solution would enable an agile approach to visually present and report meaningful insight. To support this, a suite of printed materials, video content and a new website was required to use as part of the sales toolkit.

communications

Writing for both internal and external purposes, I played an active role in the communications function of the marketing team. This would include generating web copy, sending out company updates via email and writing/proof reading articles for the internal publication.

Case studies were written to document previous projects and were showcased at national events; demonstrating our capabilities to customers and discussing the various services that Babcock Analytic Solutions had to offer.

roy castle lung cancer foundation

Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation is the only dedicated UK lung cancer charity. With a head office in Liverpool and various retail stores throughout the North West, their aim is to support anyone affected by lung cancer and to raise money to fund vital new research into life-saving treatment.

One of my main focuses as Marketing Officer was to support the retail function of the organisation. I liaised closely with the Retail Managers to ensure we were promoting offers, hitting targets and had ample supply to eye-catching marketing collateral. I designed posters, flyers and online web content as well as a monthly retail update, which proved to be an effective internal communication tool.

A large part of my role included the design and distribution of social media content via a CMS. I took ownership of the Instagram account and wrote content for our other platforms (Facebook and Twitter) as well as blog posts for the website and articles for the patient magazine, Inspire.
